The annual 702 Mother’s Day Concert at the Zoo with SPAR celebrated its 21st event today, with spectacular performances by top South African entertainers. The concert, hosted by 702’s Aki Anastasiou and Redi Tlhabi attracted an audience of over 10 000. The crowds were entertained by the Mzansi Youth Choir, the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra led by Richard Cock, and soloists Nomfundo Xaluva and Joseph Clark. Musician Loyiso Bala, who came with his family, was also called on stage to help sing the final song “We are the World”.
